Work sample

Oriental dance is the art of isolated body movement. What does that mean?
We move only the head (e.g. gliding), only the shoulders (e.g. pendulum), only the hands (e.g. waves), only the arms (e.g. snake arms), only the chest (e.g. gliding), only the pelvis (e.g. circles), only the hips (e.g. pendulum), only the legs (e.g. knee shimmy), only the feet (e.g. steps) while the rest of the body rests as much as possible within itself.
Oriental dance consists of the sequencing and combination of isolated movements to the rhythm of music. (Free online course)

We connect with our soul through our body. Pain during movement or an inability to perform the movement may be an indication of a lack of spiritual alignment.
Now you have to focus your perception on the affected part of the body and continue dancing, changing your posture slightly and feeling yourself until the imbalance disappears and you feel well again.
In this way, dance becomes a means of regenerating body, soul and spirit.
